Hi, I'm Han.
Before I was born, my grandfather wanted to name me Gui, which simply means rich and expensive.
However, my parents had different expectations for me; they gave me the name Han. It means having a heart big enough to embrace the sun and signifies a hopeful morning after the darkness has passed.
I must admit it's quite fitting, as I often find myself writing scripts until dawn and, at five in the morning, striving alongside the entire crew to capture the first rays of sunlight for our film.
I am a child nurtured by the stories of this world.
In my childhood, I woke up to my mother’s lullabies and learned about her mother's past and history.
In the fields and bamboo groves, my grandmother shared mountain elves, the thrilling growth history of a bamboo shoot, and the secrets of death.
At midnight, I sat alone in front of the television, solving mysteries with world-renowned detectives and laughing with the girls and boys of teen movies.
I grew into an imaginative teenager.
I enthusiastically promoted my vivid and rich stories among friends. I gathered people around me, lying on the small bed in the dormitory, narrating thrilling stories I created, and later accompanying terrified girls to the bathroom at midnight.
I was motivated to deepen my understanding and skills of every aspect of film and television production, I studied scriptwriting and ventured into directing short films.
And then I pursued a path to become a producer.
In my past experiences, I have been involved as a producer, director, and writer in various film productions. Passionate about portraying complex characters and delving into profound insights into the inner world, my stories unfold in a surreal blend of fantasy and reality, narrating resonant themes in a unique and captivating manner.
I am a child nurtured by the stories of the world, and now, I aspire to bring forth more stories to the world.
